When it comes to our skin, most of us pick up products with harsh chemicals and unwanted ingredients that end up damaging our skin in long term. We know that these products are not good for skin but more often than not, but we can’t help it because organic products are always costly and making products out of kitchen ingredients seems like a herculean task. But what if we tell you that it is a matter of a few minutes and you can get your homemade natural products just by mixing 2-3 ingredients? We have brought to you DIY natural products which you can make on the go. We are using products which are readily available in the kitchen so that you can save time which you would have to spend otherwise on hunting them in the supermarket. Furthermore, you can check budget products here!
Mix one cup brown sugar (can use white sugar) with half cup olive oil, two tablespoons of honey and juice of one lemon. Apply it on your face and scrub for a few minutes and wash it with cold water.
Mix one teaspoon honey with one tablespoon of coconut (you need to warm it a little bit before adding as it turns solid in winters) and rub it on your face. With antimicrobial properties, it would fight acne without taking away essential oils from your skin. This may, however, leave your skin greasy and that is when we come to the toner.
Take one tea bag of chamomile tea and dip it in one cup of hot water for 10-15 mins. Take cotton, dip it in the chamomile soaked water and use it to wipe the skin.
Take one mashed tomato and two tablespoons of lemon juice and mix them. Apply the mixture on your face for 20 minutes before you wash it off with cold water.
There is no need to mix anything. You can simply use coconut oil as it is a great moisturizer. After you are done with cleanser and toner at night before bedtime, apply coconut oil and it would moisturize your skin the best way.
