Just a few days before making her debut in the big screens with Kedarnath, Sara Ali Khan made her first appearance in the television world. She starred along with her father, Saif Ali Khan, in a recent episode of Koffee With Karan Season 6.
Sara opened up about a lot of things on the show like her relationship with Kareena Kapoor Khan , Saif Ali Khan and with little Taimur too.
Sara admittedly was very nervous on the show as this was her first time talking on such a large platform and would be seen by so many people around the world. She went on to say that she was both excited and nervous about being part of the entertainment industry.

After this, Karan brought up the topic about their family structure. Sara, being the daughter of Saif and his first wife Amrita Singh, one might think that her equation with Kareena, Saif’s second wife, would be a cranky one. To our surprise that’s not the case with the Khan family.
Sara’s Relation With Her Step Mom Kareena
Sara told Karan how things never went uncomfortable between the family as everybody handled the relationships in the most mature manner. She knew that both her mother and her father were now happier and that’s all that mattered.
She said – “Everyone has been clear about their dynamics with me. It has never been confusing. Kareena herself says that ‘look you have a mother and a great one and what I want is for us to be able to be friends.’ My father also never said ‘this is your second mother’ or made it any way uncomfortable.”
Sara was just happy that now she had ‘two comfortable homes instead of one uncomfortable home’.
One of the best things we got to know from the show was that Amrita actually helped Sara dress up for Saif and Kareenas wedding. It just feels so good to know how maturely people can handle relations and move onn in life. Sara revealed this by saying
“My mom dressed me for my father’s wedding. A lot of people would be of the opinion that Kareena was being weird or mom was being weird. It was very comfortable. Everyone was so mature. It was not a big deal.”
Sara’s Relation With Her Father Saif
Sara admitted that Saif scolds her a lot and usually Kareena and Amrita both intervene to calm the dad and his daughter down. In the show, they discussed about how he scolded her on phone and then her stepmom Kareena Kapoor intervenes in their fights. She said that Saif once hung up on her twice after scolding her and then Kareena and her mom tried to calm her and Saif down when things got heated.
She said she once asked her father what she should call Kareena as and his father’s response cracked us up.
She said – “I would be like what should I call her – Kareena or Kareena aunty and my father would be like “you would not want to call her an aunty.”
Sara’s Relation With Taimur
Sara definitely loves Taimur as much as the whole country does. She said she finds it very cute when Taimur waves to the media people waiting outside his house to click pictures of one of the cutest star kid of b town.
When Sara was asked what Taimur’s facebook bio should be, she replied – ‘I am a Prince not an invader’
In a recent radio interview, Sara said that Taimur calls her ‘Gol’, probably because he thinks she is chubby and cute.
Sara’s Insecurities
We all have our insecurities and the star kids are no different. Karan showed a video of Sara’s teenage days where she was acting with the her brother Ibrahim. She used to be a little over wright back in the day. To this, Sara admitted to be suffering from PCOD. She is still suffering from PCOD because of which her weight keeps on increasing randomly. Its all play and games of the hormones. She said – “There was a hormone problem. It made it hard for me to lose weight and the hormone level was high,”
Saif tried to lighten the mood by saying that Pizza was also the cause of Sara’s weight problems to which Sara put the whole blame on the excessive hormones.
Sara’s Love Interest
In the rapid fire Round when Sara was asked who she would like to marry she took Ranbir Kapoor’s name and also showed interest towards dating Kartik Aaryan. Thats not a bad selection of love interests we must admit. Sara even asked Karan to set her up with her dating interest Kartik Aaryan. Lets see if we get to see them become a thing in future.
Its these witty things that she comes up with while still being so mature and understanding in her age is what makes us fall in love with Sara Ali Khan day by day,
