Review: Riso Rice Bran Oil Why Its good buy for health conscious people

For every lady who loves to cook, oil is the elixir that adds taste to food. No wonder, we have so many companies selling different types of oil, each with its unique cooking benefits and flavours that it imparts to food. However, the convenience of eating oily foods raises the question of whether the right kind oil is consumed to maintain health. Rising cholesterol levels, stress, etc. have made it very important to choose the right oil we use. Riso Rice Bran Oil is one such product that I will recommend. The brand is manufactured by Kamani Oil Industries and has been endorsed by Raveena Tandon.riso-sice-bran-oil

What the Brand Claims

Riso Rice Bran Oil claims that the oil is good for every day cooking and frying.

What SHE likes?

Riso Rice Bran Oil has a high smoke point- that is it doesn’t give away smoke easily and imparts good flavour to the food when cooked.
It is rich in gamma oryzanol- an antioxidant that helps lower cholesterol levels
It is rich in Vitamin E.
Riso Rice Bran Oil is produced by physical refinement- a process that helps retain the natural taste and flavour of the food
The main plus point is that it is completely bland and hence does not influence the taste of the food cooked in it.

What SHE Hates
I can’t say that there is something that I don’t like about the oil. What I could say that is one should never use a specific oil for prolonged periods of time. It is good to change the oil you use to obtain better health benefits. Especially these days when you have oil extracted from various sources.

Final Take
RISO Rice bran Oil is good for everyday use considering the health benefits that it offers. It is moderately priced at Rs 135 for 1 litre although some wholesale retailers could get you the same oil for a cheaper price- say up to Rs 110. Go ahead and give it a try. I would love to hear your opinions after you’ve used it as well. Till then..take care and stay healthy.
