Review: Veeba Island Dressing

Did you know that salad dressing was invented nearly thousand years ago with oil and vinegar for dressing greens? Egyptians preferred salad dressed with oil, vinegar and Asian spices and Mayonnaise is said to have made its debut at a French Nobleman’s table over 200 years ago according to Wikipedia. But we Indian’s love our salads creamy, gooey with all species. So here’s my hunt for perfect dressing started a few weeks ago. After browsing several dressings online website, reading several blogs and going through various recipes I couldn’t make a decision of buying dressing online. I happened to visit nearby supermarket where I tasted Veeba Island Dressing in one of their demo section and immediately picked up Veeba Thousand Island DressingScreen Shot 2016-07-28 at 6.48.58 pm

The first thing I noticed it’s 81% fat-free, which was quite impressive selling strategy for a person like me. The second thing it’s trans fat-free and third thing cholesterol free. The texture of the dressing is quite creamy and tastes yum.

Well, you can have this in your simple bread sandwich or add it to your caesar salads, pasta, burritos or in your burgers.

There is nothing about this product that we hate.

Veeba dressing range includes tastes Chipotle Southwest, Sweet Onion, Mint Mayonnaise, American Mustard, Thousand Island, Barbeque, Olive Oil Mayonnaise, Caesar, Honey Mustard, Sweet Onion, Ranch, Teriyaki, Marinara, Sweet Chilli, and Vinaigrette.
