Instructions:
1. Prepare the Mangoes:
- Rinse the mangoes thoroughly under cold water and wipe them dry.
- Peel the mangoes and remove all the pulp with a knife. Cut the pulp into small pieces.
2. Make Mango Pulp:
- Grind the small pieces of mangoes in a mixer or blender to make a fine pulp. Ensure there are no chunks remaining.
3. Prepare the Ice Cream Mixture:
- In a blender, combine the fresh cream and condensed milk. If desired, you can add sugar at this stage for additional sweetness.
- Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined.
4. Incorporate Mango Pulp:
- Add the mango pulp to the cream mixture in the blender.
- Blend again until the mango pulp is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
5. Freeze the Mixture:
- Transfer the entire mixture into an airtight container and cover it with a lid.
- Place the container in the freezer for 7 to 8 hours. The ice cream will be partially set at this stage.
6. Blend Again:
- After 8 hours, take the partially set ice cream out of the freezer and blend it again. This step helps eliminate any ice crystals that may have formed.
- Avoid over-blending as it may cause the ice cream to melt completely.
7. Set the Ice Cream Again:
- Place the container back in the freezer and allow the ice cream to set fully. This will take an additional 8-9 hours.
8. Optional: Add Mango Chunks:
- If desired, you can add small pieces of mango to the ice cream mixture before setting it for the second time.
9. Be Patient:
- Waiting for the ice cream to set may require patience, especially if there are children eagerly waiting. Explain the process to them to avoid frequent opening of the freezer, which can prolong the setting time.
10. Serve:
- Once the ice cream is fully set, scoop it into bowls or cones and serve immediately.
Enjoy the tropical delight of homemade mango ice cream, perfect for beating the summer heat!
