Ingredients
1 Cup canned Chickpeas or Kabuli Chana (Alternatively, you can use boiled ones)
1 tbsp Tahini Paste (Alternatively, you can use 1 and a half cup roasted white sesame seeds)
3-4 tbsp Virgin Olive Oil
2 tbsp garlic paste
3-4 tbsp lemon juice (juice of 2 lemons)
Salt to taste
For Garnishing (Optional)
Few Olives
Few chunks of Chickpeas
A little Olive Oil
Finely Chopped Parsley
Paprika Powder
Method
It is a two-step process once you have gathered all the ingredients together.
Step 1
Add the ingredients in a grinder and grind till it becomes a smooth paste.
Step 2
Take the grinded mixture into a bowl and make a small hole in the centre for the olive oil. Sprinkle the olive oil, paprika powder, parsley and put some chickpeas.
Your hummus is now ready to be served with Pita Bread.
