Navratri Special Recipe: Arbi Ki Tikki

Ingredients

1.Arbi 250gms
2.Red Chilli Powder 1tsp
3.Salt To taste
4.Garam Masala ½ tsp
5.Carom Seeds A Pinch
6Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
7.Ginger Paste ½ tsp
8.Waterchestnut Flour 4 tsp
9. Corriander ½ tsp
10.Cherry Tomatoes 12 Nos
11.Mustard Seeds ½ tsp
12.Curry Leaves Few
13.Green Chillies 2 Nos
14.Sugar To Taste

Preparation method

For Arbi Ki Tikki
• In a bowl take grated Arbi, red chili powder. Salt, garam masala, carom seeds, turmeric powder, ginger paste, water chestnut flour and chopped coriander. Mix it well.
• Make round shaped tikkis of the prepared mixture and shallow fry in a pan till it turns golden brown.
• Arbi ki tikkis are ready.
For Cherry Tomato Compote:
• Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chopped green chilies, chopped cherry tomatoes, salt, sugar and slimmer it on a low flame.
• Serve the prepared Cherry Tomato Compote with the Arbi ki Tikkis
