Amrut Veni and Manappuram presented the 2022 edition of Miss South India. The grand gala for Miss South India 2022 occurred on August 1st at the Le Meridien in Kochi, Kerala. The show has twenty female teenagers from each of the five South Indian states – AP, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu took part in these contests. The Pegasus chairman, Dr. Arjit Ravi, attended the occasion as well.
Miss South India 2022:
Charishma Krishna Vommi, one of the twenty stunning contestants, took home the coveted crown of Miss South India 2022 at the Miss South India 2022 beauty pageant. Debnita Kaur and Samruddi Shetty, respectively, held the first runner-up and second runner-up spots.
The winners of Miss South India were presented with a gold crown designed by Parakkat Jewelers. Charishma was awarded a DQUE gift reward of Rs 1,000,000, with the first and second runners-up receiving Rs 60,000 and Rs 40,000, respectively.
Charishma Krishna:
Charishma Krishna, who spent her formative years in the United States, has spent nine years studying Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam dance. So far, she has taken part in over 30 dance performances. She received training from renowned model Bharti Berry. She attends Andhra University and is a member of the Fine Arts faculty. She acquired a solid education in swimming, karate, horseback riding, and acting. She had acting lessons from L. Satyanand, a well-known filmmaker, and she also performed in a few short movies. She has also performed on stage a lot throughout her career as a classical dancer. She has had a lifelong interest in the arts and is a talented actor and dancer. Her mother is a housewife, and her father, Harikrishna, works as a government employee.
