Indian ads have been evolving over the last few years and how! And the latest example of this growth is here! India’s first ad featuring a lesbian couple is here!
While the country may be taking steps backward, given Section 366, it’s clear that the society has come a long way and we’re slowly moving towards accepting gays, lesbians and bisexuals. (Yay to that!)
Coming back to the ad, we think it’s adorable and super sweet! And there’s no denying it has been made so well! In a country where gays and lesbians have been stereotyped to the core, it’s refreshing to see the characters portrayed just like you or me!
This ad is no doubt a wonderful step forward and it’s even nicer to see this ad coming from an ethnic brand! So, what do you guys think?
