When someone mentions F.R.I.E.N.D.S, we are filled with nostalgia. The show that aired its last episode 14 years back still rules our hearts. All these years later, the show is still loved and watched by people all over the world. If there is one show that has truly transcended geographies, countries, generations, it is undoubtedly F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Suffice it to say, people love the show like none other.
It would be an understatement to say that we want a F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion. Rather, we are desperate for it!
However, the chances of that happening are next to impossible. The starcast of the show has made appearances together over the years post the end of the show, yet a full fledged reunions is definitely not on the cards.
Recently, in an interview with Rolling Stone, Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman was asked by she has been adamant that there would be no FRIENDS reunion. Here’s what Marta had to say,
“There are several reasons. One, the show is about a time in your life when your friends are your family. It’s not that time anymore. All we’d be doing is putting those six actors back together, but the heart of the show would be gone. Two, I don’t know what good it does us. The show is doing just fine, people love it. [A reunion] could only disappoint. ‘The One Where Everyone’s Disappointed.”
