Do Discussion Using All New Audio App ‘Clubhouse’

With clubhouse – go online anytime to chat with the people you follow, or hop in as a listener and hear what others are talking about.

Conversations are a form of sharing thoughts and opinionating voices and choices. It not only provides a foundation to gather knowledge but also increases our awareness about many things happening around us. Based on this concept, the audio chat app ‘CLUBHOUSE’ was launched during the pandemic in April 2020 to connect people virtually through audio mode and is creating a buzz ever since its commencement. Till the end of the year 2020, the user base of the app has grown by four times.

The emergence of this app is further marked by some of the influencing celebrity hosts such as Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg being part of it. And the list of other celebrities joining Clubhouse goes on. The app is currently available only for iOS users. Although the app is available on the google play store and can be downloaded, one can’t sign-in as it is not open for the android users yet. But the good news is that the application developers are soon going to launch it for Android users too.

One of the unique attributes about Clubhouse is that the app is based on the concept of ‘INVITE-ONLY’. This means that it can only be accessed when someone invites you to join the app which makes it accessible only to selective users. So, the invitee can join the clubhouse session and become part of it through interaction with the panel by asking questions and presenting their views about a topic. All the sessions on Clubhouse happen only live without any recording option.

In India, Clubhouse initially started with sessions of inspiring entrepreneurship journeys of some of the influencing Indian founders. The app concept promotes the free flow of thoughts among its members where conversation happens in an audio room. One of the salient features of the Clubhouse app is the only ‘invite-in’ option that makes it super safe and comfy for all its users including women. Apart from that, it gives a peaceful environment for healthy discussion between the fellow panelist where one can raise the question during the session when permitted. The app has steadily increased its user base in India and is growing day by day. It needs to be seen if the app can become an audio giant application all over the world in days to come.
