There are times when you’ve got to work till midnight or early morning. Dinner was over by 9.30 perhaps and then you feel the pang of hunger once again at 1.30 am. Now what do you do? There are some ways by which you can pull through work while not dealing with hunger pangs late at night.
Puffed rice or Murmura
There is nothing better than munching on some murmura when you are hungry late at night or very early in the morning. You can keep aside some hot homemade soup to add to the puffed rice. This is just to add some taste to the rice. It would rather be great if you had the puffed rice without adding anything. Chew the puffed rice just to keep your mouth busy.
Salad
Keep some salad items stacked away in the fridge. Cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce and cabbage can be freshly cut and eaten when you feel hungry. These give you the great feeling of chewing on to something while they do not add to your weight.
Late dinner
Whenever you plan to remain awake for work and there’s nothing at home to munch on, have your dinner later than the usual time. This keeps your stomach filled and prevents you from feeling hungry.
Fruits
Keep some fruits like some apples, guava or banana handy for late night or early morning hunger pangs. They keep your stomach filled without increasing your body mass.
Fibre biscuits
Keep some fibre biscuits handy for chewing in the middle of the night when hunger strikes. You get the joy of munching while you actually eat very less. Drinking a full bottle of water after having these biscuits. You will feel stuffed.
