8 Days Of Love – Counting Down To Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is slowly creeping up and while it still may be too early to plan out what you want to do on that particular day, it isn’t too early to plan a complete “8 Days of Love” that starts from right now right up till the 14th.

Why? Well, the fact is that the moment February hits it, so does the excitement! Sow why not channel that excitement into something more exciting rather than just waiting for 14th to come by.

The Ideas

Dates Galore: You can start with something small, a drive, a late night dessert, an ice cream, etc. Gradually make your way on to bigger dates. Breakfast, movie, high tea and finally, finish it off with a grand dinner!Counting Down To Valentine’s Day

8 Days, 8 Gifts: Before we scare you off with the number “8” and the big budget that you are probably associating with it at the moment, hold up and listen. Similar to how we started small in the dates galore idea, start small here too. Set a budget first and then plan. The gifts don’t have to be big. The point is to bring a smile on the other person’s face.

Gift Examples: Flowers, stationary, customized phone cover, socks, book, beer, etc.8 Days Of Love

Never Been Told Before Reasons: We’ve all seen those “Reasons Why I Love You” and most of the reasons there have been done to death. Loyal, caring, funny, loving, etc are reasons we’ve all heard before. So think hard, what are the silly little reasons that really make you love your partner? Is it the way they sing in the shower? Or the way they says a certain word or phrase? These are probably things you partner has never even heard before! So write one a day and either leave it as a letter in their bag, or put it by his bedside every morning before he wakes up or whatever you prefer. We’re sure it’ll make his day!Valentines Day

A Memory A Day: Nothing brings a smile like a fond memory! So think up of the 8 best memories you’ve spent with your partner and present him/her with one a day! Nothing like counting down to the day of love with sweet ol’ memories.

These are just a few ideas to get the ball rolling. The list is endless on what you can do for those 14 days of love. Good luck ladies!

I've always enjoyed writing but the professional route to it happened by chance and I'm loving it! I literally have a billion dreams, one of which is to own an amusement park someday! I love to eat and often dream about pizza in my free time.
