1. Basil (Tulsi) :

There are many Italian, Thai and Indian dishes where basil is used as an ingredient. Continental dishes such as chicken tortellini soup, cantaloupe basil sorbet, BBQ short ribs, lobster spread and several others include basil in their preparation.

Benefits: Basil leaves help in stimulating appetite and it also helps with problems regarding stomach distress, nausea and dysentery.

2. Parsley (Ajmod) :

Parsley is used in continental dishes. Several continental dishes such as parsley salad, macaroni with parsley, white parsley sauce, Irish stew, fried minced pizza, venly chicken, calabrian pasta and many others have parsley in them.

Benefits: Parsley has vitamin A and C which are two vital nutrients that help in fighting diseases. This herb provides folic acid that contains Vitamin B which helps in preventing heart attack.

3. Thyme (Ajwayen ke Phul or Banajwayen) :

Continental recipes such as wild mushroom soup, mussel salad with wild rice, chicken Magnifique contain thyme in their making. There are several Indian dishes also in which thyme is used.

Benefits: Thyme is a good source of potassium manganese, iron, calcium and magnesium. Along with Vitamin B complex, Vitamins like A, C, E and K are found in thyme.
